NSG Supports Charity Mind for World Suicide Prevention Day September 13th 2022 < back to all news Saturday 10 September was World Suicide Prevention Day; an event we as a company and our staff have supported for a number of years. Unfortunately, far too many people have their own personal stories about suicide and this year Fiona Keegan, Project Manager at NSG, bravely shared her own heartbreaking story about the recent passing of her father. In memory of their late father, Fiona’s brother, Andrew, is doing 12 months of fundraising for charity Mind. As part of this, Andrew is running 100km every month alongside other fundraising events and recently completed his 100th run of the year. Our Health and Wellbeing team wanted to support Andrew and the Keegan family with this challenge, so we asked our staff to get out walking or running over the weekend, with a goal of surpassing 100km as a team. Our staff embraced the fresh air and rose to the challenge, comfortably beating the 100km target. In recognition of Andrew’s and our team’s efforts, we as a company and some of our staff have made donations to Mind through Andrew’s fundraising page. < back to all news
