NSG Recertifies ISO and OHSAS Standards

NSG is delighted to announce the recertification of its ISO 9001 and 14001 quality and environmental management systems to the 2015 standards.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard is based on a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement. The requirements of ISO 14001:2015 include the implementation of proactive initiatives to protect the environment from harm and degradation, such as sustainable resource use and climate change mitigation, and a focus on life-cycle thinking to ensure consideration of environmental aspects from development to end-of-life.

In addition to the revised ISO standards, NSG’s OHSAS 18001:2007 occupational health and safety management system has also been recertified; all of which were accredited by Afnor UK.

Mark Coles, Director Responsible for Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) at NSG, commented:

The recertification of our ISO 9001 and 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems demonstrates our ongoing commitment to putting quality, the environment, and health and safety at the heart of our operations. Going forward, we will continue to challenge ourselves to ensure best practice and will look to bring our OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system in line with the new standard once it is reissued later this year.
