NSG Signs Mental Health Pledge
At NSG, we want to help break the silence and end the stigma around mental health. One in four of us will be experiencing a mental health problem at any one time. Nine in ten people who have experienced a mental health problem have faced negative treatment from others as a result. That’s why we have signed the Time to Change Employer Pledge, England’s biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination.
Over the last year, we have worked closely with Lancashire Mind to deliver training and awareness about mental health at all levels of the business. Going forward, we will continue to improve mental health awareness to ensure our people feel empowered and confident enough to be open about their mental health in the workplace. Our Time to Change Action Plan will form part of our People Strategy, one of our key business priorities, ensuring mental health and wellbeing stays high on the agenda and becomes fully embedded into our everyday processes.
