NSG Sponsors Jennings Rivers Ride
NSG are delighted to announce that we have been given the opportunity to sponsor one of four routes of the Jennings Rivers Ride in September 2013. The Rivers Ride was launched in 2011 to help raise funds to support the charitable work of the Cumbria Community Foundation and has raised more than £35,000 to date. The event starts and finishes in Keswick and provides four stunning bike routes for cyclists to choose from, catering for all abilities. Last year the event attracted over 1000 cyclists!
NSG have sponsored the ‘Community Circuit’ which is a 38 mile route heading west to Cockermouth via Ouse Bridge, returning to Keswick via the rebuilt Lorton Bridge and finishing with a climb over Whinlatter Pass.
Laura Horne, NSG’s Stakeholder Manager, said: "We are delighted to be part of such a fantastic event that provides so many people with the opportunity to come together and raise funds for the Cumbria Community Foundation, whilst spending quality time with their friends and families in some of the UK’s most beautiful locations. We are proud to be sponsoring the ‘Community Circuit’ and look forward to starting some team training sessions so that we’re ready to take on the challenge!"
